10 January 2020 —Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse Tomorrow
The Full Moon tomorrow which will peak around 7.21 pm coincides with a Lunar Eclipse. It is being referred to as a Wolf Moon and it is a penumbral eclipse which means the eclipse will unfold in the outer region of the earth’s shadow where the moon will only undergo slight dimming at best. And two days later there is a Saturn/Pluto conjunction.
So, there is a lot happening astrologically. Astrologers tell us that Lunar Eclipses indicate a letting go of the past. And whether or not one believes that the planets affect us and are indeed forcing us to let go of the past, I believe we will all find it useful to ask ourselves questions such as: ‘What am I holding on to emotionally? What am I holding o n to emotionally? What is it I need to let go of now? What is it circumstances seem to be forcing me to let go of?
The Wolf Moon according to one theory is named after wolves prowling on the hunt around this time of year. NASA said ‘if you can imagine wolves howling in the distance then you probably understand why Native Americans would have called it the ‘Wolf Moon’ their traditional name for the Full Moon in January.
