10 July 2020 — CONFUSION CONFUSION CONFUSION — IS IT A CHOICE?

And, the answer in my case is a GREAT BIG YES — VERY MUCH SO. The next question, of course, is WHY am I making that choice? What is the Pay-off for choosing to be confused?

To prevent myself from going forward? To allow the ego to know it exists with its worry worry worry? The same old ….

And. of course ‘the same old’ answer is that I am making the choice to be confused in order that my ego self may feel in control and hence feel safe by ignoring the fact that it is making that choice and choosing to deny the intuitive parts of myself— as per yesterday’s blog.

CONFLICT is something which we all know well, but as a rule I would say that we are happiest projecting our conflict on to the outside, on to other people or on to the circumstances in which we find ourselves, rather than facing the CONFLICT within ourselves between our rational ego minds and our wise intuitive minds.

Whenever we view ourselves as having a problem in not knowing how to act or react, it can be very helpful to ask ourselves what it is that we are avoiding knowing or facing? Of what are we afraid?

This quote I have always found very inspiring and quite surprising. At the moment ‘work is in progress’ as I endeavour to discover of what it is I am afraid and why I prefer to feel confused and view myself as inadequate.
