11 April 2020 — COPING STRATEGIES

There’s a saying which goes ‘’if it moves salute it, if it doesn’t move pick it up, if you can’t pick it up paint it’. How many of us driven ‘stir crazy’ by the lock down can relate to this?

I know at least one person who is painting everything in sight just to keep busy. My coping strategy is to meditate now that the house has been spring cleaned.

At the end of this quarantine period we will certainly NOT be the same person as we were prior to it. So who will we be? A more patient person? A more adaptable person? Much fitter through having exercised more? More resilient through having had to work at home and look after children?

Will THE POINT OF POWER BE OURS through increased self awareness, acceptance and inner peace?

My writing is based on the understanding that ‘we’, (each of us individually) create our own reality through our feelings, thoughts and actions.
