11 June 2020 — FEAR
There are many, many sayings about FEAR but the one I felt it appropriate to quote today is; ‘FEAR IS A DARK ROOM WHERE NEGATIVES DEVELOP’ .
In other words, what we fear we are quite likely to attract to us. At the moment it seems that many people are afraid of contracting the Coronavirus and their minds are occupied with how they can prevent themselves from getting it.
I am tempted to ask ‘What kind of a life are we living when we are preoccupied with what MIGHT/COULD happen instead of living in the moment and being aware of what we are doing, the people around us and the sights we are passing?’
AND, the million dollar question as posed in the World War 1 Marching Song is: ‘what is the use of worrying, it never was worth while’. The words of another song also come to mind ‘Whatever will be, will be, The future’s not ours to see’.
In writing the above, I am not denying that this is, indeed, a very worrying and unfortunate time that we are living through.
