11 November 2020 — REMEMBRANCE DAY

I have chosen today to acknowledge the fact that it is Remembrance Day because wars still play such a big part in the world today and because being born in the middle of the war years affected me in the way that I didn’t get to know my father until I was around four years of age and would cry every time he came home on leave.

It seems that the human race takes a very long time to learn lessons. Will we ever learn to make LOVE NOT WAR?

I quote the words from John Lennon’s song -

‘Make love not war: I know you’ve heard it before: LOVE IS THE ANSWER AND I KNOW YOU’VE HEARD IT BEFORE, OH YEAH OH YEAH, MAKE LOVE NOT WAR.

And how many of us I wonder are at war with ourselves? How many of us know inner peace?

My writing is based on the understanding that ‘we’, (each of us individually) create our own reality through our feelings, thoughts and actions.
