12 May 2022 — DO WHAT YOU CAN

The following is a quote from Theodore Roosevelt: ‘Do what you can, with what you have, wherever you are’.

‘Believe you can and you’re halfway there’.

‘It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to have tried to succeed’.

‘It is not the critic who counts, nor the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done them better’.

In brief what this is saying is ‘It is better to have tried and failed than never to have tried at all.’

Wisdom I really needed to hear at the present moment when I am about to attempt to do something i failed to do a few years ago!.
