16 May 2020- FAITH IN YOURSELF AND FAITH IN GOD; THAT IS THE SECRET OF GREATNESS (Sri Sathya Sai Baba)

Paradoxically perhaps it is FAITH IN MYSELF that I find much harder than FAITH IN GOD. I am quite happy with the idea that there is a greater power than myself but this is accompanied by the belief that we are not separate from God. I believe that God is within all of us.

However, when it comes to having FAITH IN MYSELF there is often much doubt as to my capability to accomplish things and to my state of worthiness. This brings me back to a favourite saying of mine LOVE ONE’S SELF WARTS AND ALL.

However, faith, doubt, success, failure is all PART OF LIFE’S RICH PATTERN so once again it is a question of letting our feelings and thoughts rise and fall and NOT letting our mental states control us. AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY PERHAPS, Knowing that ‘ALL IS ONE, ONE IS ALL AND DUALITY IS AN ILLUSION’.
