17 September 2021 — DOOM AND GLOOM BUT HOPE SPRINGS ETERNAL
My day so far has been very frustrating because nothing has worked out the way I wanted and indeed, envisioned it would. I allowed my mind to keep going over and over the morning with the usual ‘if only’ I hadn’t done this but had done that etc. The rational mind was certainly having a field day until my wise intuitive mind came through ‘telling’ me that it was my choice to be sunk in doom and gloom thereby feeling disgruntled with life generally so I could choose otherwise.
And then I read the following in Lucas Ralli’s book ‘Sai Messages For You and Me’. — ‘Always live in the present. The past is behind you, you cannot change any of it. The future lies ahead, but you do not know what it holds. So, live in the present and, through your thoughts and actions today, create a better future for yourself and for the whole world. Yes, you create your own future and your life is in your own hands. How you are today is the result of your past, all your thoughts and actions in so many lives. A karmic pattern has been created so that the events of today are simply the creation of your own past. Even the future pattern has already been created in substance but can be modified by the exercise of your own free will. Every thought and action produces a reaction. The law is perfect. Bad thoughts and actions lead to all the misery that man experiences in life.
There is no life that cannot be changed for the better. But that change can only be brought about by a change in your thought patterns.’
AND SO THE MESSAGE BEHIND THIS PASSAGE IS THAT WE HAVE FREE CHOICE TO CREATE THE REALITY WE WISH THROUGH OUR THOUGHTS.
My main problem causing the outlook of ‘doom and gloom’ is that for some unbeknown reason my energy levels are very low. So, indulging in doom and gloom will not help. So often I write about ACCEPTANCE and I before i can solve my situation and restore my energy levels, I need to accept the situation as my choice, discover what the PAY OFF is for choosing this situation and with understanding the choice to ‘MOVE ON’ will be mine simply through changing my thought patterns.
