We often experience a whole range of feelings in a very short space of time. Often when we are feeling happy, joyful and pleased with life something happens which causes anger, resentment , self pity, worry etc to arise. Feelings, however, come and go in the wink of an eye but the rational mind often chooses to cling on to negative feelings, going over and over the reason for them.
FORGIVE and FORGET is the best if not the only recipe to restore equilibrium to the mind. NOT EASY but so WORTHWHILE. When we can do this we can once again know our happy, joyful side and see the ‘good’ instead of ‘bad’ and expect THE BEST TO HAPPEN instead of worrying about events in our lives going ’pear shaped.
