18 January 2021 — PATIENCE IS ALL THE STRENGTH ONE NEEDS

Another of the sayings with which I was brought up was ‘It’s better to be patient on the pavement than a patient in hospital’.

I was born with a tendency to want everything done yesterday and although over the years I have somewhat managed to curb this tendency I still find being patient very difficult.

At the moment with the safeguards brought in because of the Coronavirus one often has to wait and I attempt to wait meditatively and peacefully accepting that all the agitation in the world won’t change the situation.

DON’T BE IN A HURRY THAT ONLY CAUSES WORRY — PATIENCE IS THE KEY TO LIVING PEACEFULLY.
