18 July 2022 — THE WEATHER

‘Whether the weather be fine, or whether the weather be not, whether the weather be cold, or whether the weather be hot, we’ll weather the weather whatever the weather, whether we like it or not”.

I thought this children’s rhyme an appropriate heading for my blog today. It would seem that generally people are divided by their reactions towards this very hot weather, some people loving the heat and others hating it.

However, there’s not a lot we can do about it except ‘weather’ it. But whether we enjoy it, or hate it there is nothing we can do about it. If we do indeed, ‘hate’ it, we still have to live through it and once again, as I state in so many of my blogs ACCEPTANCE IS ALL. What, indeed, is the point of grumbling and moaning to ourselves and getting ourselves overheated when there is really nothing we can do about it but endure it until it changes? And, of course, it WILL at some point change — hopefully NOT into days of endless rain and thunderstorms!
