20 April 2021 = LOVE FOR GOD MUST BE MANIFESTED AS LOVE FOR MAN (Sri Sathya Sai Baba)

WISE SIDE v EGO SIDE — We are generally aware that we have these two sides — one which is very aware of what the correct action is. Usually one which stems from SELFLESSNESS rather than SELFISHNESS. And one side which although aware of what the correct action is justifies acting from a purely SELFISH point of view.

Spiritual teachings view GOD is being INSIDE OF US ALL and NOT OUTSIDE. Energy as Einstein taught with his Energy equal Mass squared by the speed of light formula is all there actually is. How we use our energy in thought, word and deed therefore, towards ourselves and our fellow human beings defines how we act towards God.

Our rational minds love to compare ourselves with others and to criticise and judge ourselves and others. If only we can stand back and allow others to express themselves as they see fit in any one moment even if it is hurtful, angry energy which is being expressed we can give ourselves time to see the personal hurt which is giving rise to such energy, and hopefully tune into the wise side of the person in question. We then prevent ourselves from getting caught up in their anger and remind ourselves that what is being expressed is merely one side of the person in question.

We can then be said to be expressing LOVE for the person in question adhering to the concept that: in expressing LOVE FOR MAN we are indeed expressing LOVE FOR GOD.

LOVE FOR GOD MUST BE MANIFESTED AS LOVE FOR MAN.

Not an easy task! But if we bear this in mind things might fall into perspective a little more, hence allowing us to feel less frustrated and angry with our fellow human beings when we are tested by their behaviour.

My writing is based on the understanding that ‘we’, (each of us individually) create our own reality through our feelings, thoughts and actions.
