20 September 2021 — HAPPINESS IS WHERE WE FIND IT, BUT RARELY WHERE WE SEEK IT (J Petit-Senn, Poet)

My interpretation of this phrase would be that HAPPINESS is LOVE. If we ACCEPT that whatever happens to us has happened and that no amount of wishing and hoping is going to alter the circumstances in which we find ourselves then we will be HAPPY IN THE MOMENT.

If, however, we have an idea in our minds of what we want and spend our time thinking about how we can bring it to fruition, we will cause ourselves ANGST and UNHAPPINESS.

‘Be careful what you wish for’ is a popular saying implying of course that there is always the possibility that should we get what we have been wishing for it might not meet our expectations.

ENDURANCE —( patiently waiting for what one wants to happen) if it is done with LOVE— can sometimes be the key.

PONDER POINTS: my immediate response to the above is ….times in the past when I have wanted something desperately and it didn’t come up to expectations when I achieved it are …..I feel inner peace comes from ….
