21 October 2020 — INTUITIVE KNOWING versus RATIONAL THINKING ie RIGHT BRAIN versus LEFT BRAIN

This morning I was able to see clearly both sides of my mind at work. I was taking items out of a drawer in order to find something specific when I suddenly realised that I couldn’t remember what I was looking for. I started the rational process of trying to recall what is was and just couldn’t remember. As I paused in confusion, an image of what it was I looking for flashed across my mind and I was able to locate it.

This left me reflecting how much easier our lives would be generally if only both sides of our brains — the right and left hemispheres — were balanced AND wondering why often we don’t trust our intuitive insights.

PONDER POINTS: The last time I was aware of knowing something intuitively was when ….. the times when I remember trusting my intuition are ….. I allow myself to get lost in thought trying to work out what I need to when….I have felt fearful about trusting my intuition when ….
