22 APRIL 2024 —FEELING UNWELL

Sometimes we choose to feel unwell in order to feel sorry for ourselves or to prevent ourselves from doing what we know we really should do. We allow our minds to ‘rule the day’ as it were. We also attract sympathy from others when we tell them we are not feeling well.

Feeling sorry for ourselves is something which brings us into the realm of of feeling frustrated and slightly pathetic and removes us from our strength, knowing and wisdom. AND, feeling sorry for ourselves is most certainly self indulgent,

Feeling unwell is often very unnecessary. However, when we are truly ill we do need to pamper ourselves but at the same time attempt to discover why we are indeed choosing to feel so unwell.

I find that there is usually a reason for feeling unwell and if we can’t discover the reason all that is open to us is to ‘grin and bear it’.

When we truly are ill, however, healing ourselves IS difficult and sometimes the only way to proceed is: to grin and bare it.

PONDER POINTS: On reading this I felt …feeling unwell is something I do very often ….I very rarely feel unwell and I put this down to …..
