22 March 2020 — MOTHER’S DAY — SACRIFICING OUR OWN NEEDS FOR THOSE OF OTHERS — SELFLESS OR SELFISH

There are many, many quotes about mothers but the one which sticks in my mind goes something like this!- “You can tell the strength of a nation through its Mothers’.

Those adults who as children did not know true love, true kindness, acceptance, tolerance and discipline grow up with low self esteem and with the attitude that they must look out for themselves as no one else will.

I wonder about all the people who at the moment are panic buying — taking much more than they need without regard to anyone else. Thank goodness some stores are limiting the amount which can be purchased by one person.

SELFISHNESS is certainly overruling SELFLESSNESS.
