22 May 2020 — FEELING PUT UPON

Already today I am feeling ‘put upon’ by others’ expectations of me. It feels that because I am expected to do certain things for them, to give to them, my FREE CHOICE has been taken away.

It is true that when I see others needing help I am more likely than not to help them. Giving to others comes naturally to me. However, when people EXPECT me to give to them not only does it feel that my FREE CHOICE has been taken away: it also feels that I have become some automaton whom they cease to see as an individual, unique person which we all are.

PONDER POINTS: Is the problem mine? Am I creating a problem where there isn’t one? Do the views expressed point to the fact that I am a reluctant giver?

My writing is based on the understanding that ‘we’, (each of us individually) create our own reality through our feelings, thoughts and actions.
