22 October 2018 — Troubling Times

I am resisting quoting the Beetles song ‘In times of trouble Mother Mary comes to me’ because in this time of personal trouble it is a Leonardo da Vinci quote which I find pertinent.

‘I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress and grow brave by reflection. It is the business of little minds to shrink but they whose heart is firm and whose conscious approves their conduct. will pursue their principle unto death.’
