23 September 2020 — COINCIDENCES

A couple of things have happened this morning which have had me exclaiming — ‘What a Coincidence”!

I’ve heard people say that there are in fact ‘no coincidences’ and I am inclined to agree with this point of view which suggests that everything happens for a reason and, on some level we attract it.

I believe that our intuitive wise side attracts the incident we like to see as a coincidence because we have something to learn from it, or correspondingly we have come to an understanding about something which the ‘coincidence’ allows us to register.

It is easy to forget that the things which happen to us, happen through our beliefs, thoughts and actions. When we are aware that we keep attracting the same circumstances it often helps us to understand WHY this is happening if we examine our thoughts and feelings.

Sometimes we keep meeting the same people in the most unexpected of places and “what a coincidence” we think that we should both be in the same place at the same time so frequently. Very often the people concerned are people whom for some reason or another we would have preferred not to meet. Alternatively, of course we also coincidentally bump into people whom we would like to know better.

In either case, whether it be what we would term a happy coincidence or a not so pleasant one, I feel we do have something to learn from the experience and it benefits our inner understanding and our ability to feel at peace with ourselves.
