25 April 2020 — ENERGY versus MATTER

I will begin by a quoting sentences from: Divine Discourses by Sri Sathya Sai Baba:

“From a scientist’s point of view Matter can be converted into Energy and vice versa. But in My view matter and energy do not exist separately. These two are inseparable and interrelated. In fact there is no matter in the world, wherever you see, you only find ENERGY.

TRUTH, RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE, AND FORGIVENESS are expressions of the Principle of Shakti (energy). Truth is the primal cause. There is nothing other than this. All faculties of Energy are present in this Truth so consider Truth as your Mother and follow it.”

NOT an easy concept to grasp at first I find but after much pondering I take this to be expressing the same sentiments as Einstein’s formula E=MC squared by the speed of light which can be interpreted to mean that under the right conditions energy can become mass and vice versa.

ENERGY and MASS may seem to be concepts which don’t much affect us until we recall the occasions on which we have met people who make us feel uncomfortable because of their energy. They maybe NEEDY, SELF PITYING, AGGRESSIVE and our overall feeling is that they are wanting something from us: be it our attention, our sympathy, our understanding and it appears that for them we do not exist as a person in our own right, but only as someone on whom they can unload. They are not interested in how we are, or what is happening to us.

AND, OF COURSE ON THESE OCCASIONS IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE REMAIN TRUE TO OURSELVES, RETAIN OUR INNER PEACE, AND HAVE COMPASSION FOR THE OTHER PERSON AND FORGIVE THEM FOR OFFLOADING ON TO US.
