25 November 2021 — FEELING CHALLENGED

At the moment my whole world seems shaken up, ‘world’ in the sense of my beliefs and my philosophy.

I believe that nothing happens unless we choose it. However, I believe in karma and that our actions towards others come back to us.

Yesterday many unpleasant things happened to me including my bag being stolen. And, I certainly do not want to believe that I have ever stolen from people. I think not in this life but who knows about past lives?

There is an element within me which wishes to give up following what I believe and let it all hang out. I SUPPOSE THAT MIGHT BE CALLED HAVING A TANTRUM!!

INSTEAD I must choose to remember the ‘Ah so’ Monk sigh and go along with what is happening. The story about the Monk is one where a mother accuses a monk of having fathered her child and leaves the child with the monk but years afterwards accuses the monk of having her child and takes the child back and the only response the monk makes is to say ‘Ah so’.

PONDER POINTS: how I felt upon reading this is …..I have felt challenged in the past when …..
