26 March 2024 —NICE MICE !

I went to the toilet at 5 am to be greeted by a mouse running across the room! I found this very strange as I wasn’t aware that there were mouse in the house.

Once again we are back to accepting all that happens and adapting to what happens. There is, of course, the need in us to be in control but when we are able to accept that things do happen over which we have no control, we are one step closer to loving ourselves and the world, through our awareness that we are not totally in control.

How we love to be in control — to have power over someone — a facet of ourselves that we do not acknowledge. I certainly would have liked to have been in control and NOT TO HAVE HAD A MOUSE IN THE HOUSE but there we go! The mouse was there irrespective of my wishes and there was totally nothing I could do about it.
