27 April 2022 — EFFORT REWARDED!

I quote from an unknown source found in the book BELIEVE AND ACHIEVE: ‘The STEEPER the mountain, the harder the climb, the better the view from the finishing line.’

This, of course, is in line with the colloquial saying ‘you get back what you put in’. I have noticed from time to time, that as much as a part of me dislikes struggle, there is a part of me which attracts it. When we are struggling to achieve something and not too sure if we are going to make it, it is the ego self which rules. BUT When we are determined to achieve something I believe it is our intuitive self which rules . And it is that part of us which believes we can and will conquer any obstacles in the way. And it is that part which reaps the VIEW FROM THE FINISHING LINE.

It is important, however, that the DETERMINED effort we put in comes from the heart — from that part of us which does believe it will achieve and not from anger and fear of failing.

And so, THE STEEPER THE MOUNTAIN, THE HARDER THE CLIMB, THE BETTER THE VIEW FROM THE FINISHING LINE’.
