Indeed one could say that ‘adapting to the new’ is something we have been doing all year with the change in circumstances because of the coronavirus. Some of us. however, have had to adapt to the death of loved ones, breakups in relationships and loss of body functions etc etc

It is not always easy to adapt to new circumstances — those which have been thrust upon us. In truth HOWEVER, WE HAVE NO REAL CHOICE, BUT TO ADAPT and ACCEPT, other than to go kicking and screaming into the NEW.

The only choices open to us are either to give in graciously and embrace the new or to be dragged there kicking and screaming.

I believe we find it easier to accept the changes in our circumstances when we are able to acknowledge our fear, anger, regret and resentment allowing these feelings to be there AND TO RISE AND FALL NATURALLY AS THEY WILL when we refuse to let the rational mind dwell on. what it likes to view as misfortune and bad luck.

In this way we are allowing ourselves to grow emotionally and mentally and LOVINGLY because LOVE IS ACCEPTANCE and EMBRACING ALL.

IT IS MY EXPERIENCE that love flourishes within and without when we embrace and accept what we cannot change.
