27 February 2022 — ENERGY — ON WHAT ARE WE FOCUSSING OUR ENERGY?
In my case I am focussing my energy on a part of my body which is causing me pain. In doing so I am making it much worse. When I am distracted by meeting someone or some circumstance then I forget to focus on the pain and I am unaware of it until the mind remembers the part of the body causing me the pain.
When we focus on our worries: i.e. ‘things’ which are upsetting us or ‘things’ which ‘could’ or might happen, it is as though we are in partnership with our fears and are welcoming their presence.
This then is a time, I believe, to recall all the circumstances in our lives for which we are grateful hence taking our mental energy away from what has become a problem in the moment or from worrying about what could become one in the future.
PONDER POINTS: upon reading the above my thoughts were…..and my feelings are ….In the past I feel i have allowed worry to take me over when …today I have been focussing my energy on …. this has caused me to feel good because ….this has upset me a little because ….
