27 March 2019 — LOVE

This morning the Sri Sathya Sai card I have drawn reads ‘Most routes are circuitous like meditation, but the direct path is love’.

LOVE what is LOVE? I find myself asking. We tend to use this word a lot, many times as a substitute for ‘like’. As i have written many times I see LOVE as equating with ACCEPTANCE of what happens. But then, perhaps that can be a little misleading when we think of what life today could be like if people had accepted all that happened to them. For example women might not be entitled to vote, racism might still be rife, we might still be tolerating slavery.

The answer perhaps is, that we LOVE/ACCEPT what is happening in our lives but if we feel it necessary then we attempt to change it with LOVE and not from a feeling of anger, hatred, injustice — merely from the viewpoint of how it is affecting US. And once again we find ourselves back to square one as we ask our ‘selves’ the question WHY HAVE I CHOSEN THIS?/WHAT DO I HAVE TO LEARN?

My writing is based on the understanding that ‘we’, (each of us individually) create our own reality through our feelings, thoughts and actions.
