28 APRIL 2022 — LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT, SO MAKE IT GOOD.

I am finding it hard to make life good at the moment purely because I have had three teeth extracted and am feeling much discomfort! . I keep telling myself to follow the advice I gave in the blog talking about being ON TOP OF THE WORLD when one feels the WORLD IS ON TOP OF THEM!

And, as with everything it boils down to the CHOICES we make. I have the choice to take deep breaths accepting the way things are at the moment, knowing that this condition should only last a few days more or i can choose to feel sorry for myself and feel depressed. And when I then ask myself the question HOW is feeling depressed and sorry for myself going to help, the answer is of course it is not.

I have also noticed that feeling down and unwell brings on worry about my teeth generally and, of course, as ever was, worry doesn’t solve a thing. It only makes things 100% worse.

So it is time I started thinking of how lucky I am to live in a society where dentists are on hand to solve one’s teeth problems and looking ahead to the time when the extraction of my teeth will be in the past.

Perhaps, also I should stop acting as a baby!! Things could be much worse in my life than just having had teeth extracted !!

How difficult it is sometimes to look on THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE and instead, DWELL ON THE DARK SIDE OF IT!!

AND, neither is it easy to be ON TOP OF THE WORLD when it feels like the world is ON TOP OF US. But, IT CAN BE DONE IF WE WILL IT TO BE SO.

LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT SO MAKE IT GOOD and IF MAKING IT GOOD MEANS TOLERANCE, ACCEPTANCE, ENDURANCE, PATIENCE AND LOVE THAT IS WHAT ONE SHOULD PRACTISE.
