29 June 2020 = TAKING THINGS FOR GRANTED

This morning a bridge I cross in order to pursue what i call my meditation walk was closed. This resulted in my having to walk a very long way around in order to reach my intended destination.

This morning I dearly missed the bridge not ‘being there’ for me. This got me wondering how many people in my life I take for granted and do not appreciate for the role which they play in my life until circumstances intervene and they are no longer there to play this role.

How easy it is to take things and people for granted. Recent circumstances have reminded me how much I have taken having a healthy body for granted and expected, that despite my age I always would be healthy.

From now on I intend NOT TO TAKE THINGS FOR GRANTED but simply be grateful for what I have as long as I have it and to graciously accept the situation when it changes.
