30 December 2020 — BELIEF IN OUR SELF

If we believe in our SELF then we need to trust our SELF and NOT another’s estimation of who we are. We don’t need to be perfect or be right all the time , we simply need to learn to love our imperfections and then we won’t need to project them on to others. Here, of course we are back to the instruction to ‘LOVE OUR ‘SELF’ WARTS AND ALL. This, is of course, NOT an invitation to our ego side to indulge in selfish actions and be motivated by our desires but simply an instruction to embrace our intuitive wise sides and to FORGIVE ourselves when our ‘wise’ sides have been absent.

So often addictive behaviour is born from a feeling of not liking ourselves, of not feeling we are as good, clever or prosperous as others. When we believe in our ‘selves’ we have no need to compare our ‘self’ to others. We can allow others to be who they are. It is my belief that we are all doing the best of which we are capable. and at some point. behaviour patterns which are not helpful or useful will be experienced as SUFFERING and that is when we will drop them.

My writing is based on the understanding that ‘we’, (each of us individually) create our own reality through our feelings, thoughts and actions.
