Other people may be drawn to us or repelled by us by the quality of of our feelings.

FROM OUR FEELINGS EMANATE OUR THOUGHTS. In their natural state our feelings rise and fall in the moment. Problems can arise however, when our mind grabs on to these feelings in a negative manner.
