4 November 2022 — WHEN TO HELP AND WHEN TO REFRAN FROM ACTING

Today a pigeon has fallen into our very small pond and is struggling to get out with very litle success. I have made attempts to help it by trying to fish it out with a net but was not successful because the net was too small.

I am not sure whether I frightened it more and should just trust in the pigeon’s ability to eventually free itself OR perhaps that it is time for it to die.

In the end I just picked it up and put it on the garden to either recover or to die and I am still left with the question did I do the right thing or should I have put it out of its misery.?
