I think this saying fits into the category of ‘easy to say but difficult to do’. However, it makes perfect sense: if there is something we know we have to do — like go to work! — then we certainly make ourselves very unhappy to no avail when we moan and groan to ourselves about having to do it.

ACCEPTANCE versus RESISTANCE! How often do we give ourselves a hard time by moaning and groaning about things we have no control over.?

THE SECRET OF HAPPINESS IS IN ACCEPTING THAT WHICH WE CANNOT CHANGE and in realising that we (our wise/soul sides) have chosen this experience for a reason. The main reason being that it has something to teach us and pondering on WHAT it has to teach us will hopefully bring us to inner understanding.
