EQUANIMITY TO ALL THINGS

--

How easy it is to get upset when things don’t go as we wish them to instead of shrugging our shoulders and thinking ‘that’s life’.

Good fortune, happiness and sorrow, loss and gain all happen naturally. They are products of nature like heat and cold, summer and winter. “They have their purposes to serve. Similarly the ups and downs of life have lessons to teach us.’ (Sri Sathya Sai Baba)

Day follows night — without darkness we would not understand the concept of light. And when one is down there is only one way to go — UP.

BUT more importantly by staying calm and equanimous we are giving ourselves a chance to listen to our intuition and hence to understand why we have attracted the circumstances we find ourselves in.

My writing is based on the understanding that ‘we’, (each of us individually) create our own reality through our feelings, thoughts and actions.
