MAY 1ST — MAY DAY but NOT MAY DAY

Traditionally May Day marks the the beginning of summer. This year it is not officially being celebrated until May 8th to combine with VE Day. The traditions of May Day are Maypole dancing and Morris men which I love to watch.

However, EVERY DAY IS A NEW DAY AND PROVIDES A NEW BEGINNING. The trees are bare in Winter, leaves begin to sprout in Spring and blossom blooms, , in Summer the trees exhibit their full beauty although this year with the warm weather this has already happened. and in Autumn they change colour and fall to the ground.

SO IN WHICH WAYS DO WE PERSONALLY NEED TO BLOOM AND BLOSSOM? What is it we fear to express about ourselves? What is it we feel unworthy of and feel we don’t deserve?

HOW CAN WE SHED THE PAST, WELCOME AND CELEBRATE THE NEW?

My writing is based on the understanding that ‘we’, (each of us individually) create our own reality through our feelings, thoughts and actions.
