OUR TECHNOLOGICAL AGE

Does our TECHNOLOGICAL AGE — our dependence on pressing buttons resulting in automatic procedures for everything such as money transactions, contacting others etc render us rational beings with our emotional, spiritual and caring sides buried under what we think and what we desire?

This question arose in my mind because of the many experiences of which I am aware of the hacking or attempted hacking of peoples’ accounts. Fortunately in many cases technology seems to be hacking proof or in my case the bank reimbursed me!

I suppose the desire in some people to get what they want dishonestly has not changed. There always seems to have been thefts and burglaries. Perhaps it is just that the extent of the area in which theft takes place has expanded in our technological age.

And to answer my own question as to whether our emotional, spiritual and caring sides are buried under what we think and desire in this technological age I feel the answer is NO and that many people are still feeling, spiritual and caring human beings.

PONDER POINTS: my thoughts on reading the above are …my feelings on reading the above are …. What I think about the question as to whether this technological age has rendered people less caring etc is ….
