RIDING ALONG ON THE CREST OF A WAVE

Yesterday I went for a drive with a good friend who enjoys the same kind of music as I do and for the time I was with him I truly felt that I was ‘riding along on the crest of a wave’ as the sense of I am this person who ‘likes this’ or ‘doesn’t like that’ didn’t exist as we enjoyed the scenery and sang along to the music.

JOY and LOVE were predominant within us. As Einstein and spiritual teachers tell there is no matter only energy and yesterday I experienced moments when the ego self failed to exist. This is a situation which happens to us all when we are transported out of the ego self through music, a beautiful view, sunset or experiencing a wonderful rapport with another person.

There is a saying from Shakespeare which reads ‘The world is our oyster’ meaning we can do anything we want but when we are RIDING ALONG ON A CREST OF THE WAVE, the World ceases to exist separately from us.

My writing is based on the understanding that ‘we’, (each of us individually) create our own reality through our feelings, thoughts and actions.
